STATE LANGUAGE CANNOT IMPOSED TO THE STATE PEOPLE AS OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The state language cannot be imposed against to the people living in the state for use as official language of regional language. The language imposition by the state government affects the fundamental rights of the Indian Citizen, who are authorized to decide their language which is to be written to the official authorities. The Indian citizen freely allowed to choose out of 3 formula language prescribed in the constitution of India.
The right to freedom of speech and expression under Article 19(1) (a) of the Constitution includes the freedom of language choose. The State Government cannot impose controls on such choice. The application form introducing by the Kerala Government in only Malayalam language this include English or Hindi as understandably to use by public. The imposing other restriction on the freedom of speech and expression will be harmful to the development of the country. We are Indian Citizen and not a State Citizen.
Such compulsion also violates the fundamental right of the minority occupation in the state under Article 19(1)(g) of the Constitution. Hence, the state has no power under Article 350A of the Constitution to compel to choose state language as their mother tongue only.
