The Anti power theft squad of the KSEB and Engineers are doing fraud with the consumers. They are now doing combined operations with consumers premises those who are taking temporary extension from old house to the new joint house and issuing heavy penal bill under Tariff VIII for Rs 130/- per one unit to obtain bribes from consumers giving fearing. Such extension is not unauthorized as per the Supply code section 154 sub section 4 of 2014 published by the Regulatory Commission of Kerala..
The High Court of Kerala was also given an order in writ petition WP ( C) 10841/20129( E ) dated 10 Dec 2012 "the board to levy energy charges under LT VIII Tariff for unauthorized extension, billing at penal rates on the basis of connected load on a daily basis is impermissible by KSEB".
Even though they are entering the premises of consumers and issuing heavy penal bills which cannot bear by the consumer, When such illegal action reporting to the government they sitting as idle on the matter and no action is taking against the department. This may cause to help the department to do wrong action against the consumer.
There is a great funny found on serving the penal assessment notice to the consumer one of the Assistant Engineer of the KSEB, using electricity under tariff VII A(Commercial) paying the highest rate Rs 5.80 per unit to them. The consumer made losses to KSEB for using the domestic equipment for operation of the lowest tariff of Rs 1.50 per unit.
What a funny government and what a funny Electricity Board. We can guess it what admiration is doing by the government and the department in public. Hence, the consumer was now brought the matter to the notice of the Hon'ble High Court.
