There are two source of law 1. Common Law 2. legislation Law
Common Law -Common law is part of Law in England which is no connection with legislative law. It is law which is originated from customs law of the people and used for decisions and ruling of the Judges.The Senior appellate court in the country by creating new offences or widening existing ones. Example of Common Law offences are Murder, Manslaughter and incitement. Most of the general principles of criminal liability are derived from the Common Law. The decisions of certain court are more than just authoritative statements whose effect is persuasive, must be applied in subsequent cases.
