A Bimonthly bill for the month of 8/2014 served to the consumers have now refunded a portion of Security Deposit without interest from their bills after passing of the financial year of 5 months. This practice adopting by the KSEB is to save interest on amount by way of cores of rupees. Without paying interest along with the refund portion of the Security Deposit is illegal and untenable in law. This may lead dispute against KSEB in future by consumers.
